Tuesdays the new date day
Had yet ANOTHER doctors appointment for the twins today. It was exciting to see them for the first time in 3D! The pictures didn't turn out great, but we got to see with our own eyes just how cute they are already. We could see Baby A a little better since he is closer to us, and I thought he looked like Tristan. Since Baby B still has less room, they want to watch this closely. I now am going to the specialist every week... my new part time job! This is in addition to my regular doctor. That means five ultrasounds in the next four weeks. We will see these little guys almost as much as we see Tristan. They are now watching for "stuck baby syndrome", but they don't think it's a problem with me yet. There was just a case of it in the office that was not caught in time because of appointments being too far out. The doctor says that this is a critical time in their development and things can change very quickly. Since one baby has less room and is feeding towards the end of the placenta I could possibly be a candidate, but no concern right now. I'm fine with this decision. Better safe than sorry. The good thing about all these doctors appointments is the time Neil and I get to spend in the car together. It's a 35-40 minute drive to the specialist office, so I guess our new date time is every Tuesday from 9-12. Not as romantic as you would think, but I will take it. It was good to see the boys nice and healthy with strong little hearts beating. Now time to put my feet up and rest for a while.

Hey,
ReplyDeleteHang in there! I know you and Neil are dedicated and will take the best possible care of the little ones. Let me know if you ever need a shoulder to lean on. Long distance, but I would love to support you in any way!
Beijos,
